Meet Your Photographer

Hi, I’m Kateryna but everyone calls me Kate.

I was born and raised in Dnipro, Ukraine, by my incredible single mother, who taught me to see beauty in people, stay endlessly optimistic - and above all, believe in love.

At 17, I left home and began a journey of self-discovery - searching for my purpose, my people and a place I could truly call home.

It shaped the way I see people, love and life - and ultimately led me to photography and the way I work today.

My story didn’t begin with a photography

My Journey

At 17, I moved to Switzerland to study hospitality, later living in the United States before eventually settling in Dubai in 2018.

After years in hospitality and corporate banking, I bought my first camera in 2020, not knowing it would completely change the direction of my life.

Big Change

In 2023, I made the decision to leave my office job and pursue photography full-time.

Seeking inspiration and a fresh perspective, I moved to Paris, where I photographed over 200 people, collaborated with international creators, and discovered a completely different approach to photography - one focused on real emotion rather than perfect poses.

Where I Am Today

Back in Dubai, photography grew into a thriving business. Maternity sessions became my signature work, while I also documented hundreds of couples, families, intimate weddings across the UAE.

I also began mentoring photographers through workshops and private consultations.

In spring 2026, I returned to Paris to begin a new chapter.

For me, photography isn’t

“just a job” - it’s a part of who I am.

Perhaps, that’s why I’m so drawn to documenting the moments that matter most: the people we choose, the families we build and the love that gives meaning to our lives.

Through my photographs and the stories I share, my mission is simple: to share more love in the world and give hope to those still searching for it.

Real stories of real people that I have the privilege to witness through my lens - quiet proof that love still exists, even in a world that sometimes makes us forget.
